This assignments requires you to write an essay focusing on an historical figure. The question that your essay should respond to is identified in the "To Do" steps. That question is similar to those that are commonly asked on New York State Regents Examination for World History & Geography (which will take in June of your 2nd year).

The assignment is meant to be completed in phases with each phase revealing a new skill or issue of focus.

The task is challenging, but remember, we're learning to write on a college level in an academically acceptable fashion. Our goal is set, getting there will be the challenge.
