Requesting removal of javascript used in your applications

This is a mail from Zoho Creator service with respect to your account with us linked to the mail id 124243000000002001@qballaries.zohoplanner.com.



As per the announcement made earlier, we have discontinued the support for javascript execution with the update done on April 14, 2009. We have asked our users to replace javascript based solutions that they have used in their application with alternative solutions and most of them have done so.



However, we found out that some of your application(s) are still using some custom javascript based solutions. So in order to facilitate the proper functioning of these applications, we have given special permissions for them, so that javascript will still continute to function.
 
Please note that, the permission given to your application(s) will be removed by 13th May 2009 and the specific parts of your application that uses javascript will stop functioning. So kindly take steps replace the javascript based solutions with alternative solutions. You can find the exact locations where javascript is used in your application with the help of the js finder tool.



If you find that any of the concerned applications were installed from marketplace, please refer this article for help on correcting those applications.

Note : Please note that, even after 13th May 2009, only those areas in your application which has been implemented using custom javascript will stop functioning. Remaining functionality will function normally without any problems.
