The first planning meeting to plan our major tasks for the pageant.

Objectives:

+ Select 30 contestants for the upcoming pageant. + Lockin the Dowd YMCA on East Moorehead at $75 for our designated registration time. + Devise a prize package for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places to be included in the marketing and advertising of the website, television, and newspapers. + Produce a Press Release for the Charlotte Observer, Charlotte Post, and Creative Loafing. + Get the pricing to produce 1250 program booklets + Get a count of the number of seats in the balconey. + Looking at a $25 ticket price.

CNC Graphics produce our magazine at $55/hr Tickets will be sold thru CPCC Halton Theatre only.

Looking at a possible organization to donate a portion of the funds to, for example: The Cancer or Heart Foundations and/or after schools programs or community organizations that help underprivaledged children in the community.

Advertising proposed as follows:

VH1 - Sa, S, M nights Oxygen - (Oprah, Ellen D, Tyra B) Tues nights Apollo and Flavor of Love - Tues and Sat nights.

Thinking about giving 30 VIP tickets away to our city officials.
